The LEAP program exposed us to the various domains at Asian Paints, starting from hands-on knowledge of how surfaces are painted in the industry, to interaction with dealers during market visits thus helping us understand the on-ground market. The program also included a visit to the cutting-edge Asian Paints RnD facility, and stints at some of the most advanced automated manufacturing plants in the country. Furthermore, the access to the absolute topmost leadership of the company, be it through formal discussions or informal connects helped me gain a deeper understanding of how this industry leader and stock market behemoth functions, and always stays ahead of the curve.

GET program has been a flagship program of APL since 2015. With higher levels of automation at each manufacturing location, the GET-SET-GO program is designed to build engineering capability for the future. It is a rigorous 12-month-long induction program designed to ensure that trainees are provided with the right exposure at the beginning of their careers. Every GET undergoes multi-functional training across multiple streams of engineering, i.e., electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, industrial safety, and chemical. All this, combined with rigorous reviews, exposure through various stints across the country, interactions with a wide variety of people and lots of fun, has made this a highly sought-after opportunity.
