External Job Description

OPC Coordinator 

1. Handle daily sample testing including chemical, physical, and quantitative analysis.
2. Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, IR, etc.
3. Ensure proper understanding and usage of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory glassware.
4. Maintain strong knowledge of chemistry principles and testing methodologies.
5. Work collaboratively with team members as well as handle independent responsibilities effectively.
6. Record and update daily testing and production-related data accurately in SAP.
7. Prepare daily reports for Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and batch analysis.
8. Ensure adherence to ISO procedures by maintaining and updating all required records, files, and registers.
9. Conduct regular shopfloor and process area rounds to ensure compliance with laid-down systems and procedures.
10. Coordinate with Production and Store departments for batch approvals, status updates, and issue resolution.
11. Participate in departmental initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
12. Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental protocols.
13. Investigate and analyze customer complaints and provide resolution as per defined systems.
14. Conduct product audits, process audits, packing audits, and batching audits as per schedule.
15. Perform periodic and special tests as per required frequency and standard guidelines.
16. Provide required data inputs for monthly reports and plant review systems.
17. Support analysis and troubleshooting of deviant or non-conforming batches.
18. Escalate technical concerns related to specifications, methods, new products, or quality issues to the Technical team.
19. Ensure timely preparation and availability of master samples before expiry timelines.
20. Support production operations by ensuring process adherence, shift coordination, manpower planning, in-process checks, SAP transactions, safety observations reporting, and smooth shift handover–takeover while maintaining shopfloor discipline and hygiene.
