External Job Description
OPC Coordinator
- Handle daily sample testing including chemical, physical, and quantitative analysis.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, IR, etc.
- Ensure proper understanding and usage of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory glassware.
- Maintain strong knowledge of chemistry principles and testing methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with team members as well as handle independent responsibilities effectively.
- Record and update daily testing and production-related data accurately in SAP.
- Prepare daily reports for Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and batch analysis.
- Ensure adherence to ISO procedures by maintaining and updating all required records, files, and registers.
- Conduct regular shopfloor and process area rounds to ensure compliance with laid-down systems and procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Store departments for batch approvals, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Participate in departmental initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental protocols.
- Investigate and analyze customer complaints and provide resolution as per defined systems.
- Conduct product audits, process audits, packing audits, and batching audits as per schedule.
- Perform periodic and special tests as per required frequency and standard guidelines.
- Provide required data inputs for monthly reports and plant review systems.
- Support analysis and troubleshooting of deviant or non-conforming batches.
- Escalate technical concerns related to specifications, methods, new products, or quality issues to the Technical team.
- Ensure timely preparation and availability of master samples before expiry timelines.
- Support production operations by ensuring process adherence, shift coordination, manpower planning, in-process checks, SAP transactions, safety observations reporting, and smooth shift handover–takeover while maintaining shopfloor discipline and hygiene.
