External Job Description

Job Purpose:
Key Account Manager Role handling Top Civil Construction Companies with an aim to increase Asian Paints share of business in projects where these entities are involved. This will involve working closely with the CCCs to gain access to info regarding projects that they are bidding for along with coordinating with Field Sales teams to get conversions in place for Construction Chemical, Paints and allied Asian Paint business.

Business Responsibility Areas:

• Responsible for conversion and business numbers for projects undertaken by a specified set of Top Civil Construction Companies in coordination with regional sales teams
  Establishing connects with various ICs within the specified Civil Construction Companies
• Access to early-stage info on projects being bid by the CCCs mentioned and maintaining CCC project level project pipeline.
• Helping resolve account and site level concern areas during execution of the work
• Working with specification team via CCC route for Specification on Top projects where Asian Paints name is not there in the initial make or BOQ.
• Account development and Engagement activities with mentioned CCC accounts – Training activities, coordinating plants visits, R&T visits, product presentations and others.
• Collaborate with Technology and Central Brand Team for specific customized solutions basis site level requirements.
• Market intel and benchmarking in the space of CCC share of business and overall market construct.
• Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders along with allied AP business units for account level requirement
• Site coordination in case of specific critical projects as applicable to further business in sync with Sales teams.
• Data reporting on business share, conversion and index pipeline.

Qualification Criteria:
BE Civil Engineer (preferable)/ BE Mechanical Engineer
MBA (Optional)

Previous Experience:
Relevant experience in Key Account Management domain and/or Top projects handling
>8 years of experience in Construction Chemicals and/or Building material space
