Department: Plant Engineering 
Designation: Executive - I 
Reporting to: Senior Executive – Plant Engineering (Boiler)
Preferred age:Not more than 28 years, can go upto 40 years
Must have Minimum Diploma in mechanical engineering from reputed college with BOE Certificate Holder
B.E with BOE ready to join in this cadre can be considered

Job Requirements (Qualification / Skill etc.)

 Handling of complete boiler (AFBC) is must & turbine (Back pressure) is optional operations in plant
 Should have sound technical Knowledge of boiler (must), turbine (optional) and all axillaries, Air compressor (optional) etc and it’s maintenance.
 Competency to operate the boiler & turbine(optional) independently.
 Trouble shoot and support Boiler operators in Operations.
 Implement the preventive & predictive maintenance systems in Boiler/ battery of boilers  having area more than 1000 Sq M/power plant as per the schedule.
 Competency to  manage coal handling system  operated by contract workmen.
 Competency to manage Ash handling system operated through contract workmen.
 Ash disposal in coordination with EMD team.
 Thorough understanding of safety requirements with interlocks in boilers & turbine
 Monitoring and reporting on spares availability & coal stocks to Senior Executive.
 Operation of boiler through PLC/ DCS system
 Having hands on experience of carrying out annual maintenance work of boiler(s)
 Adhere to good Plant house Keeping.
 Basic computer knowledge 

Job Content (work area, roles and responsibilities)

 Monitor Daily trends and parameters of Boiler and Turbine.
 Planning & coordination with Senior Executive for smooth & continuous operation of boiler & turbine along with complete adherence to the maintenance (both preventive & predictive) activities in power plant.
 Coordination with Senior Executive for carrying out all maintenance activities (preventive & predictive)
 Planning & Supervision of equipment overhauling in coordination with boiler operator & service provider.
 Supervision and coordination with electrical, instruments and other departments to carry out maintenance jobs
 Ensuring complete safety requirement for carrying out any maintenance activities.
