External Job Description

Job Purpose

 

The position is that of sales personnel who would primarily be responsible for driving sales at Unit level by implementation and execution of various initiatives by coordinating with a team and nurturing and managing dealer network through focus on network expansion, market share gain, penetration of new and core products, implementing correct market practices, integration with other verticals and stakeholder management thereby, achieving overall business objectives.

 

Business Responsibility Areas

 

Business objectives

•Prepare plan to achieve the assigned business objectives for the Unit on a monthly level and work towards achievement of targets

•Collaborate with sales team in achieving overall unit level value and volume targets through regular reviews and guidance

•Ensure smooth implementation and execution of all initiatives and schemes being launched at unit level

•Identify opportunities and come up with initiatives to promote the sale of new products

•Analyze unit level sales data and take measures to improve the key performance parameters

•Drive sale for core products by identifications of opportunities and schemes

Market Development

•Maintain productive relationship with dealers through regular visits and facilitate dealers in achieving value growth

•Work towards gaining market share in specific clusters by expanding network and upgrading value growth of existing network

•Review dealer queries on a periodic basis and assist to sales team in resolving the queries as and when required

Market Intelligence

•Study and analyze market practices and offerings and provide input for Unit level planning

Customer centricity

•Monitor and ensure customer and dealer complaints resolution within benchmark timelines

Contractor engagement:

•Maintain healthy contractor set for the unit by engaging with them through relevant trainings and meets and enrollment in loyalty programs

Collections

•Plan effective money circulation with dealers to ensure timely collections and monitor the outstanding payments and defaulters for the unit

Integration

•Integrate with other verticals like project sales, services, retailing by sharing relevant leads and implementation of schemes to promote value growth

Team management

•Ensure effective utilization of manpower resource for driving sales

•Ensure grooming and induction of new officers /into the system

 

Essential

•Graduate Degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS)

•A minimum of 50% marks throughout education without any backlogs

•Graduation must be through a full time day course

 

Desired

•Candidates with MBA/PGDM in Sales and Marketing
