Assistant Manager - Production

External Job Description

Job Purpose

• Oversee the manufacturing process and ensure production is running smoothly and efficiently
• Collaborate with to set targets and make sure that finished products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Ensure processing cost is as per planned Budget.
• Ensure there is no non compliance with statutory requirement

Production Processes

• Plan and review all operations involved in production activities to ensure timely accomplishment of production service parameters
• Strive to optimize processes to enable effective utilization of capacity and deliver the results in terms of higher output
• Manage activities to ensure zero waste generation.
• Reduce operational cost through improvement projects and strive to deliver output with minimum cost

 Quality

• Review and monitor compliance with Quality as per product requirement and ensure timely improvements in Quality system.
• Implementation of quality controls

Safety

• Follow all requirements of safety manual and strive to improve safety standards from time to time

 System

• Maintain SAP hygiene

Cost:

• Factory level losses
• Overheads reduction
• Man power optimization opportunities.
• Capacity optimization.

 People Management

• Coordinate with team and extend support for improving delivery of individuals
• Handle conflicts and be sensitive to any IR and behavioral issue that might arise and apprise superiors accordingly
• Monitor performance management system for all subordinates and provide necessary feedback
