External Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The position is that of a Brand Manager primarily responsible for being a custodian of the Adhesives and distribution network in Asian Paints and provide marketing support to the sales functions. To be successful as a Brand Manager, you should have a good understanding of consumer behavior, have a working understanding of sales and distribution, be up-to-date on market trends and continuously monitor competitor activity. You will also be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, developing new products, creating go-to-market strategies, and reporting on brand performance.

 

Business Responsibility Areas: 

  • Researching and analyzing consumer behavior, market trends and competitor activity.

  • Developing and implementing strategies that resonate with the target market.

  • Planning and executing marketing initiatives including campaigns, events etc.

  • Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability.

  • Measuring and reporting on campaign performance and assessing KPIs and ROI.

  • Collaborating with different teams such as sales, R&T, creative, legal etc.

  • Overseeing the production of advertisements, promotional materials and mail campaigns.

  • Ensuring that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with brand and company values.

  • Collaboration with external (creative agencies, research agencies etc) and internal stakeholders (brand teams, sales teams etc)     

 

Qualifications:

  • MBA from tier 1 institutes batch of 2023 or 2022.

 

Previous Experience

  • Having work experience of minimum 2 years in a product marketing role

  • Sales experience will be beneficial.
