External Job Description
Job Purpose:
Drive growth, profitability and market leadership for waterproofing portfolio. The role involves end-to-end brand management covering strategy, innovation, GTM execution, and stakeholder alignment
Business Responsibilities:
Business & Brand Strategy:
• Drive annual and long-term business plans for the assigned portfolio (volume, value, and market share growth)
• Identify growth opportunities across key application segments
• Build strong positioning and differentiation in relevant categories
• Track category trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine strategy
Portfolio Management & Innovation:
• Lead new product development and lifecycle management for the portfolio
• Work with R&D to define product specifications based on application requirements
• Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and pricing strategy
• Ensure continuous product improvement through market feedback loops
Go-To-Market (GTM) & Activations:
• Design and execute GTM strategies across channels and customer segments
• Drive demand generation through on-ground activations and engagement programs
• Develop relevant communication and content
• Collaborate with sales teams to translate strategy into execution plans
Ecosystem Development:
• Build and strengthen engagement with key external stakeholders
• Identify opportunity areas in customer workflows and embed solutions
• Drive programs focused on loyalty, education, and capability building
Performance Tracking & Analytics:
• Own key business KPIs: volume, value, market share, profitability, and innovation success metrics
• Track campaign effectiveness and channel performance
• Drive corrective actions based on data-backed insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Digital teams
• Ensure alignment between product development, marketing, and execution
• Partner with agencies for communication and campaign development
Education Qualifications:
MBA/PDGM from Tier 1 B-school.
Work Experience:
3-4 years of Experience in Brand/Product management from construction materials, building products, or allied industries preferred
