Brand Manager (Wardrobe & Modular)

Job Purpose:
The position is that of Brand & Category Manager for in-house wardrobe and modular furniture brands. You will own the brand and category strategy, go-to-market (GTM) planning, brand communication, and be responsible for the success and growth of the offering. The role focuses on driving category penetration, new product development, and effective below-the-line (BTL) marketing initiatives. You will also oversee social media for the wardrobe and modular furniture division.
Business Responsibility Areas:
Brand & Category Management:
- Develop and strengthen the core identity of the wardrobe and modular furniture brands.
- Drive category penetration and market share growth.
- Lead new product development initiatives, benchmarking against competitors.
- Plan and execute BTL marketing activities (influencer marketing, brand tie-ups, digital campaigns, exhibitions, etc.).
Category Development:
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and consumer needs.
- Work with product development and design teams to launch innovative offerings.
- Monitor and analyze category performance, consumer insights, and competitor activities.
- Recommend actions for portfolio expansion and improvement.
Marketing & Communication:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans focused on BTL activities.
- Manage digital presence and social media engagement for the category.
- Coordinate with agencies and partners for campaign execution.
- Track marketing ROI and effectiveness.
Dealer & Team Training:
- Organize and conduct dealer training programs on new and existing products.
- Lead internal team training sessions to ensure product knowledge and alignment with brand objectives.
- Develop training materials and modules for both dealers and internal teams.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and update content as needed.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, sales, supply chain, commercial, legal, etc.) for seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, vendors, and customers.
- Represent the brand at industry events and exhibitions.
Customer/ AID Relationship Management:
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring high levels of customer and influencer satisfaction.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Foster loyalty and advocacy among key stakeholders.
Previous Work Experience:
Category and brand management experience of 3+ years.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in wardrobe/modular furniture or related categories.
Education:
MBA from Tier 1 B-school or
MBA full time from any recognised university with 10+ years of work exp.
