External Job Description

Job Purpose:

Providing legal advisory on any issues related to Intellectual Property and other laws, conducting searches, filing applications, attending hearings, drafting and validating business and legal documents and providing support in litigation. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Conducting searches and preparing risk reports.

Filing Trademark and Copyright applications, response to examination reports, attending hearings at TM & Copyright Registries respectively.

Checking and validating business contracts.

Drafting and validating royalty agreements.

Providing training to business stakeholders.

Establish guidelines in line with Company policies.

Establish and maintain good working relationships with the customs, Intellectual Property Office, Intellectual Property Crime Group and other supporting agencies and  organizations.

Researching cases and laws.

MIS Management:

Maintaining & managing data related to application filings, oppositions, hearings, documents, etc. and storage of related documents.
