Designation : Category Head – Luxury Bath and Surfaces

Reporting to : Associate General Manager

Job Location : Mumbai

 

Job Purpose

The position is that of a Category Head of high-end/luxury Bath and Surfaces.

Role will involve driving the category revenue and P&L management.

Will be in-charge of end-to-end customer experience including pre-sales, sales, installation and after-sales service of the category.

Will be handling an in store sales team responsible for pitching & maintaining relationship with the Customers, Architect and Interior Designers, servicing their requirements and driving sales of the category.

 

 Key Performance Indicators

 

Revenue and P&L management- 

Drive revenue for the high-end/luxury Bath and Surfaces category along with maintaining healthy bottom-line

 

AID Management -

Maintain relationship with the current pool of AIDs and add new AIDs to the portfolio

Service the requirements of AIDs and pitching new products/brands to them

 

Customer Experience-

In-charge of end-to-end customer experience including pitching & assisting clients during selection process up till installation

Responsible for seamless after-sales customer service

 

Lead Generation - Increase Market share  -

Create sales funnel through lead generation and conversion

Identify the customer needs & new trends in the market – by spending time on the ground & interacting with AIDs, subsequently incorporating such insights to provide newer designs

Developing processes to create an effective sales organization; proactively identifying changes in market demand and modifying strategies for expansion of market share & achievement of revenue targets

 

Relationship Management with Brands-

Coordinate and work closely with international brand partners. Relationship Management with International brand teams.

 

Demand forecasting-

Maintain sales trackers on a regular basis, to be shared on weekly basis along with stage of negotiation & movement of products

Have accountability for category reporting, such as forecasting demand, analysis of YTD and prior year sales, etc. (to help in placing orders with vendors)

 

Team Management-

Handle a team of people across multiple verticals: sales, installation and after sales. Lead the team to drive the category objectives.
