Job Purpose
Experienced instrumentation engineer to support execution of green field and brown field capacity expansion projects in manufacturing environment. Must be having strong technical understanding of DCS, PLCs, field instruments. Should be good in managing contractors and technicians at project site. Experience in vendors evaluation and procurement will be preferred. 

Business Responsibility Areas
•    Float Enquiries for Field Instruments like DCS, Flow Meters, Temp , Level, Flow Transmitters required for projects.
•    Review Instruments specifications / drawings released from consultants
•    Prepare and Review Instrument index, IO List, Junction Box Schedule, Cable Tray Layouts.
•    Ensures smooth integration of PLC system, SCADA system, EPSC system, weighing balances, flow meters etc. for all Plants
•    To ensure compliance to ISO 9000 / 2004 & EMS 14001 Standards and Maintain Good Engineering practices in all activities related to Instrumentation on site.
•    Carry out Commissioning related activities for Green field and Expansion projects across PAN India.
•    To manage the project activities related to Automation / instrumentation within a designated plant within the agreed budget and the time frame.
•    Conceiving and implementing modern maintenance techniques and having creative Zeal for New technologies
•    To implement Maintenance Strategies for Automation & Infra Security Standards.
•    Follow best practices of instrumentation and DCS Systems. Manage Site Contractors for day-to-day activities and Ensure compliance to Asian Paints Safety Standard
•    To see that the installation of Instruments and equipment are carried out as per national / international / Asian Paints norms for installation standards, environmental protection, and safety.
•    To implement prevailing safety regulations within the department and help achieving reduction of accidents.
•    Spare parts management for the Greenfield Projects
•    Prepare Documentation work related to ordering and Instrumentation/ IT related activities 
•    CAPA and Root cause analysis to be done for failures within Existing Plant.
•    Follow all Documentation Management System like MOC, Procurement, Invoice Management Systems, Compliances
