External Job Description

Able to handle the modern analytical instruments like GC, HPLC, FTIR,

Particle Size analyzer, pH meters and Melting point testing

Have good knowledge about raw materials roles.
Daily inspection and testing of Raw materials and intermediates
Management of rejection of raw material if any
Trouble shooting for equipment’s
Job specific training to temporary workman’s and apprentices
Preparation of Quality records and month end performance reports
Conduct Tool Box Talk with team to ensure safety in the section
Ensure safety rounds daily. Note the abnormalities and ensure that they are corrected
Coordinate with other sections in case of any issues
Ensure proper machine and shop floor hygiene
Raise Breakdown Notifications if any in Maintain/SAP
Update relevant Environmental/Quality records in the shift
Carry out all required transactions and process records in SAP
Plan for availability of consumables, raise requisition for consumables from Stores, monitor the Stocks Levels in the section
Carry Out stock taking as per the requirements
Ensure Machine Availability for Preventive Maintenance / Calibration
Reuse paint/emulsion wherever applicable as per the requirements
Do online Cost Centre Postings of waste declared in SAP
Ensure compliance to WI / SOPs and strict adherence to 100% PPE usage
Ensure compliance to QMS/EMS and SMS requirements and maintain necessary documented information
Update Senior Officer on the progress of the work in the shift and other issues within the section
Generating month end standardization MIS reports for water-based paints and emulsions
Date analysis for improvement opportunities/initiatives, monthly sectional reviews
Do AIG analysis, trend analysis, RM addition accuracy analysis, Manufacturing efficiency analysis
Raise SFI and DCR wherever applicable
Conduct process assurance audit across sections
