External Job Description

Job Purpose:

Leading research projects assigned on time to time on different polymer-based development activities effectively, for project deliveries on time.

Business Responsibilities:

Lead researchers and methodically conduct experiments for product development and establishing a process.
Strive to observe and interpret results during polymer development and communicate the same effectively.
Knowledge generation through prior art search
Maintain proper documentation related to projects.
Adherence to 5S, related safety norms and ISO standards of the organization
Work on strategic business outcomes of the organization and ensure timeliness are met as per promise

Key Performance Indicators:

Project deliveries with committed timelines
Number of technical reports, articles, Invention disclosures, Patents
Number of new concepts introduced and proven in the form of prototypes
Participation in safety audits, instrument calibrations and maintenance and conducting risk assessments or regular activities

Education Qualifications:

M.sc / M. Tech in Polymer Science/ Chemical; B.E./ B.Tech in Chemical

Work Experience:

8+ years of relevant industry experience in polymer synthesis (emulsion, acrylic, polyurethane, alkyd, polyester etc.) and its characterization.
