External Job Description

Job Purpose:

Development of colourants for decorative and industrial application.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Development of water based and solvent based colorants for decorative and Industrial application.
2. Evaluation of new processes/equipment for colourant processing. Scale-up of the same on the shop floor.
3. Benchmarking of competition colorants
4. Resolution of production issues on the shop floor by visiting plant.
5. Redressal of complaints within agreed timelines- will include analysis and correction
6. Visit to DTS dealers to understand market trends and practices. Audit the DTS at dealers.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Creative zeal & Scientific rigor-New colorant development and property enhancement/ cost optimization in existing products as agreed with marketing and SCRC.
2. Creative zeal & Scientific rigor -Support engineering and plant team on implementation of new process/equipment.
3. Standing for each other-To map products in market benchmark our product quality.
4. Standing for each other & Audacity- Enable plant team to produce product confirming to stringent quality norms.
5. Customer Passion -Near Zero Customer complaints
6. Customer Passion- understanding stated and unstated needs. Also ensure compliance to agreed processes, part of DTS roll out.

Qualifications :

Previous Experience :
0- 3 years’ experience in handling Product development teams and execution of projects independently 

Functional Competencies:
Should be conversant Paint formulations, Latest Market trends, Manufacturing process and standards referred.
