RESEARCH EXECUTIVE N -Emulsion Research - Allied Chemicals & Surfactants

Job Purpose

The Executive – N will be responsible for supporting emulsion polymerization activities, including laboratory-scale synthesis, plant trials, process optimization, and quality evaluation of polymer emulsions. The role requires strong fundamentals in organic chemistry and polymer science, with hands-on execution capability and adherence to safety and quality systems.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Formulation of emulsion polymers and additives for decorative   paints. Understanding of polymer synthesis  and organic chemistry is essential.
2. Processing and testing of the experimental designs as per test protocol defined
3. Characterization of developed polymers and their preliminary evaluation in paint prototype
4. Testing of benchmark samples
5. Evaluation of alternate RMs in the existing product formulation for suitability
6. Support to plant wrt standardization of the product at PEL/ OPC
7. Maintaining appropriate and updated records of experiments in lab note book & Optiva
8. Co-ordination with Paint development laboratory
