RESEARCH EXECUTIVE N- Vendor Development Lab

Job Purpose: Analytical testing and approval of raw materials used in paints, polymers, adhesives and construction chemicals. The Job also involves developing new test methods, identifying new or alternate materials and maintaining documents.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analytical testing of raw materials and interpretation
• Developing new test methods to frame specification
• Calibration of equipment and glass wares
• Identifying alternate test methods and conducting joint testing
• Carrying out repeatability and reproducibility test
• Testing of packing materials
• Following quality management system
• Paint processing and testing
• Working for good laboratory practices

Key Performance Indicators:

• Completion of raw material testing as per committed timelines
• Number of new/smart test methods developed
• Number of problems resolved
• Number of scientific write ups/presentations

Qualifications:

M. Sc. (Analytical/Inorganic/ Physical chemistry)

Previous Experience:

1 –3  years in analytical testing of paint raw materials
